Charles "Corky" Rogers is an All-American high school football coach. In the 2009 season, Rogers forty-first year of coaching, he led The Bolles School to a 9-1 regular season record and their second consecutive class 2B state football championship. Rogers' career record at the end of 2009 was 387-69-1.

Corky Rogers, head football coach at The Bolles School, tells about his career as a high school football coach, his early years as a player, and what has helped make the program at The Bolles School so successful. Coach Rogers attended Robert E. Lee High where he played quarterback for the football team. After graduating from Lee at 17, Rogers attended Georgia Tech, where he received a degree in Industrial Management. Rogers was drafted by The Baltimore Colts after college, but was required to serve a year in the military during the draft. Rogers started as an assistant coach for Ribault, and then became the head coach at Lee before coming to Bolles in 1989. Rogers’ father had a tremendous impact on him as a coach. Rogers explains that his dad believed in doing things the right way. He believed in hard work, and that there are no short cuts in life. These beliefs have rubbed off on Rogers, especially in his coaching years. Rogers credits his assistant coaches, administration, and most importantly, his athletes for the tremendous success that he has seen at The Bolles School. He also explains that he doesn’t believe the students at Bolles get the recognition they deserve for their hard work. Some people have a misconception of private schools and Rogers wants everyone to know just how hard Bolles students work.
